Ada 3 titik yang direncanakan untuk dijadikan TPS baru di Jakarta Selatan

South Jakarta Administration Prepares 3 New Dumpsites

South Jakarta Administration keeps looking for breakthroughs to resolve trash problems in its jurisdiction. One of the ways done is by adding more dumpsites (TPS) to eliminate trash piles.

There are three locations planned to be used as dumpsites in South Jakarta

“There are three locations planned to be used as dumpsites in South Jakarta, namely in Pejaten Timur Urban Village, Dharmajaya Kemang Utara, and on Jalan Damai Cipete Utara,” stated South Jakarta Mayor, Syamsuddin Noor, Tuesday (8/19).

According to Noor, his party is currently discussing with the landowners as well as surrounding locals. This is because building a dumpsite needs approval from the residents living around the location.

“We’re socializing and approaching the residents around those locations,” he told.

Nor also admitted that finding a place to be used as dumpsite in dense settlement is extremely difficult.

“It is indeed difficult to get a land in Jakarta for dumpsite. But, we’ll keep on trying. As a proof, we’re managed to relocate the dumpsite on the edge of Jalan Ciledug Raya before Cipulir Market to a land across by doing approaches to the landowner,” he uttered.
